Achieve Your Own Goals

Be true to yourself. Many people fail to achieve their goals because they are not really their own goals. While it is important to do right by your family and close friends, don’t try to become a banker when you really want to be a biologist just because your father wants that for you.

No Goals To Achieve?

Even if you have no goals in life, you will arrive somewhere. But probably not at your desires destination. Is this what you want to achieve in life? Living like a mussel in the muddy water and being swept back and forth? - It's so much easier when you know where you are going.

Why do they not achieve?

So many people go through the motions and spend their day on urgent, drama filled activities - or - on mundane tasks which cause procrastination, and they never achieve their goals in life. Why?

There are three simple reasons:

1. They made no decision or commitment to their goal and desired destination.

2. Deep down, they may not fully believe in themselves. Or they are unaware that they will not allow themselves to be more successful than their parents or circle of friends.

3. They simply have a lazy bone. They live on emotions, which do not pay your bills. They work only when they FEEL like it rather than consistently every day towards their goal.
